Midwest Construction in Mason City IA Case Study

Background
The home was built in the 1914 and located on River Heights Drive, a historic neighborhood in Mason City, Iowa. The neighborhood features some beautiful homes inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. From this home, one can take the Meredith Wilson foot bridge and walk north into the neighborhood that features the Frank Lloyd Wright homes.

Challenge
The homeowners’ are part of the Historical Preservation Society in Mason City. Some of the homeowner’s friends had expressed concern about the use of vinyl windows on their pristine home, leading the homeowners to question their remodeling project plans..

Approach
The homeowners reached out to Midwest Construction, after hearing about their great reputation from other homeowners who had used Midwest Construction and constantly seeing their TV commercials and newspaper ads. The husband made a visit to the Mason City showroom to look at the full-size window and siding displays, to see what would look best on his historic home. After getting his questions answered and scheduling an appointment, a representative from Midwest Construction visited the home to carefully measure each and every window and to inspect the exterior sills and casings for any problems that would need to be addressed at installation.
